I am Asst. Prof. Shruti Bir, an industry professional turned academic with over 20 years of design practice and formal teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Design and Digital Media. Academic experience with emerging leadership responsibilities and proven industry leadership across multidisciplinary teams. Expertise in practice-based design education, integrating UX/UI, animation, game design, digital product development, and AI-assisted creative workflows within student-cantered pedagogy. Strong experience in curriculum design, assessment, mentoring, and industry-aligned teaching, supported by UK postgraduate education and international professional practice. Actively engaged in practice-based exploration of generative AI tools for storytelling, visual development, and digital media production, contributing to an evolving research trajectory in AI-informed creative practice and design pedagogy.
