Always use the reference images to keep the accuracy of the model (in dimension). Specially in hard surface modelling.

Fun Fact
Stick Grenade (Stielhandgranate) was a German hand grenade distinguished by its wooden handle. It was a standard grenade for the German Empire during World War I, and Nazi Germany's Wehrmacht during World War II. Interesting piece of design to model.

Little TIP
Always use the reference images to keep the accuracy of the model (in dimension). Specially in hard surface modelling.
Go for CAMERA-BASED SELECTION to avoid accidentally selecting the unwanted faces vertices.
ctrl + shift + right mouse > Select > camera-based selection
Create > Measure tools > Distance, to measure our model.

Mesh tools > Append to Polygon to create a face/cover up gaps
Create > Polygon Primitives > Helix to create

Finally the picture of complete model of Stick Grenade.
Nice work on following the tutorial, Shruti! Some good workflow tips, and I like the Fun Fact. The entry could use just a little bit more narrative - perhaps some self critique or reflection on the process. The model looks well-made, but it looks like some surface artefacts underneath the handle cap. Was this a challenge? Why were you measuring the asset, e.g. real world scale, what’s the importance of scale anyway? - just to share with the reader the reasoning behind your choices. Don’t forget there is a list of ideas in the blog section of assignment booklet. Keep it up!
