Character profile - Group activity

We know that science has no boundaries, but number of humans keep on reducing because of many reasons. Human and animal hybrids have been created in many occasions to order to enforce genetic diversity.

Today an interesting group activity took place in class and we did created a picture of above character. Every member worked with great enthusiasm we discussed and explored our own imagination and selected some bunch of pictures based upon our own choice and criteria like age, race, birth, culture, habit and many other physical and emotional characteristics, body features following the table below.

We discussed and extracted some specific identical characteristics and behavior and then each of us collected some bunch of pictures from the internet to use as references based upon our individual research.

We decided to create a 40-50 years old creepy looking guy with wrinkled and freckled skin who can play a negative role in any movie or may be in a horror movie.

I imagined the spooky eyes and wrinkled hands. while searching for images just explored some reference videos and pictures on net and imagined an old wrinkled hand and decided its habit that the person is a smoker holding a cigarette as shown in above picture.

One member of the group decided his cloth and jewelry. I believe sometimes attire, decorations and even props play the important role to identify the character.

Another member discovered his face trespassing ideas through this picture below. Yes all the features we discussed in class I can see in his face. Though I feel it looks bit older but I think a smoker gets older faster. LOL.

Another member decided to create his legs, bottom cloths and added some animal legs. It was really fun part.

Surprisingly he added this shoe as shown in below picture. Initially I was bit surprised and i just laughed. I mean its totally opposite what we were working on. But may be his imagination got exaggerated somehow. But exaggeration is allowed in animation right? LOL.

Finally, It was really a great fun project. Imagination has not boundaries but still we tried to set some limit so that we can capture some unique ideas. I just tried to club all pictures together in Photoshop and tried to figure out the character, how it will look like if we actually implement all the features into one. And the result is something like below.

Btw, This pictures and the face are picked up from google, may be some famous one. But here we used it just as a reference purpose only. I don't have any intention to make fun about anybody or anything here, just to recognize our skill to create such characters as a team with individual ideas . I believe as a team we did really well. This was surely a fun learning. Thanks.
