Animators can previsualize the camera angles, main objects, focus lighting, mood of the character and environment of the scene.
Based upon the “Monster Inc.” script, I have created some rough illustration above, though it still needs more implications of ideas and technicality. I am still working on it.
This is a step by step process, based upon our idea or script, we start imagining the possible scene and make rough illustrations. Animation is a long and complicated process and making any changes into that animation mater means we have to go through the whole process again. That’s why story boarding helps a lot. below, I have added a first camera angle and improvise it and selected the best camera angle.

As an artist I like to write scripts, create storyboard and then I animate. I have added one example below which is based on Christmas where a little girl waiting for snow and in a secret place. And after snow, how she gets excited and prepare for party. Don’t laugh on it, LOL and judge by technical point of view as I am still a student. I will finish this one day with perfection.
My upcoming project is a short 3D scene based on Monster Inc. script. I will upload as soon as I finish it.
Pretty good storyboard, Shruti. Perhaps try experimenting more with different camera angles. The camera is a power visual communicator; it can heighten moments, provide context, bring us closer to the character's emotions and thoughts. It's also a little unclear why the kid is smiling with the closet door opens by itself. Clarity is priority #1 with storyboards :)
